Todays posting features mega-gay pornography greats Marc Williams (top-man, above) and Derek Reynolds (bottom-man, above) engaged in a "let's get acquainted" currently offered through the Next Door Ebony Studios. I am impressed with both Marc Williams and Derek Reynolds because of their ability and particularly their willing versatile style. However, neither one of them are from my early memories and appreciation of gay pornography.
The reason for selecting this set of images is the stereotypical scenario that this coleection of images represents. One of the often recurring themes of pornography, even today. Derek is asleep in his bed and awakes to Marc crawling and caressing up his body and interested in more than just introducing himself. Desire is obviously on both of their minds!
As they begin their "on-screen" antic of sexual union, this plot takes on a universal theme - one for all sexual persuasions, gay or straight. A fantasy dream that has become both alive and real and one that almost every human can relate to. Man falls in love with another man (the bisexual or gay theme) or man falls in love with another woman (the "other people's" theme)!
This reality was among the first that I noticed when I began viewing my brother's gay porn collection, There was no alarming or shocking difference between bisexual or gay interpretations and the "other" interpretations. The actual love-making may have been a novelty but that was about the only discretion. The overall themes were almost identical.
As a young teen man, questioning my own sexual nature, this was a very "eye-opening" realization for me. It made me think about the "universality" of our sexual desires and dreams as opposed to what many falsely perceived of as our "differences." We, as humanity, weren't all that different regardless of what our attractive preferences were.
Our anatomical attractions and preferences may vary depending upon our individual sexual persuasions, However, that variance was based on our own tastes and not our need or obligation for intimacy. Our humanity was entirely identical or the same. Truthfully, there was no major difference.
Once this thought entered my mind, I asked my brother about his ideas. He admitted that he hadn't given the matter that much consideration but hastened to add that he had a number of friends at his university who were curious about the same. It was refreshing for me to know that I wasn't the only "weird" person alive.
I hold this as one of the advantages and benefits of having an older sibling who's also same gender loving. He was able to assure me that I wasn't the only one out there attracted to the same sex and that I absolutely wasn't the only one who recognized the similarities in our sexual desires and needs.
The majority of my peers may or may not have similar thoughts or ideas. But the reassurance that I wasn't the sole one to have these realities and questions helped me to continue along the path that I'm now proud to have followed!Versatility matters, guys! Be cool!Rashad Keith CuffeeAt this moment, I may add to this series, My Early Porn Memories, in the future.
